If you’re looking to a new build with a classical feel, or restoring a period property and want to retain an authentic timber door for security and aesthetics, our Pitch Pine DX30 panel door is manufactured from solid timbers as standard.
Traditional mortice & tenon joints offer authenticity for Victorian, Edwardian and later Georgian properties, and we offer sizes to suit high-ceilings and larger frames. For properties that have settled in to themselves, the solid pine construction allows a wide range of adjustment through trimming, resizing and it also permits a variety of lock & hinge configurations further suiting older properties with internal door locks.
Additional strength and security is afforded through the use of deeper mid and bottom rails. The natural soundproofing of solid wood is a further gain over hollow interior doors. We offer natural pitch pine, ready for your own finishing or use as-is as a natural wood door, or primed solid white for quick painting after installation.
Our workshops use traditional construction methods for these doors, maintaining the nostalgic appeal and authenticity for your restoration. The range of 78” tall doors can be easily trimmed for smaller applications, with a standard 36mm depth, and there’s no additional cost for wider fitments. Although craftsman made, these are available from stock, so there’s no delay in your build or refurbishment.
