LPD Doors Reims White 5 Panel Fire doors were introduced in 2019, and wow, they have made an impact. This classic style, with and Elizabethan edge, has been welcomed by the market place given its diamond shaped beading, set into a single recessed panel, and then primed in a very high quality primed finish. Whether this door awakes your traditional view, or whether it alights your forward thinking style this door would suit any home, and almost any interior design environment. These White fire doors are designed and manufactured to meet the latest in UK Building Regulation safety standards in that they will prevent the spread of fire for a full 30 minutes with their FD30 rating. The Reims White primed range comes with standard 35mm panel options as will as clear glazed options with bevelled glass.
Fire Doors (FD30 fire rated doors) are doors which are suitable for use in homes or light commercial use. All Express Doors fire doors are 44mm thick and can prevent the passage of fire and smoke for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Local authorities recommend that fire doors be positioned between garages and kitchens and/or between kitchens and other rooms. They are also a necessity where risks of fire may be higher and to protect stairwells and hallways in commercial properties such as B&B's.
