Our DX 30 range offers a classic look for any internal oak door. The DX30 range is traditionally styled for those who want an authentic 1930s style door at an affordable price. The DX 30 range offers a highly sought-after aesthetic of a bygone era. We follow a traditional design for these oak doors with extra-wide mid and bottom rails. When paired with oak materials these create a warm atmosphere in any home.
What is the difference between a DX 60 s and DX 30 s style door?
If the 1930s don't fit your aesthetic, you may want to choose one of our 1960s inspired internal oak doors. The DX 60 range of internal doors are inspired by the 1960s period and follow the original design and style of this door with beaded effect panels. The DX60 internal door is a solid door with six thin panels. The DX 30 range has three panels at the bottom of the door and one wider panel at the top which can be solid or you can add glass to give your room some extra light.
Whether you prefer the 1930s or 60s style, we use traditional designs with modern manufacturing techniques to ensure you only get a high-quality door for your home. As well as a wide range of traditional size options, all of our doors have a generous lipping so they can be trimmed to fit any size doorway in your home. Our range of internal DX30 and DX60 oak doors are available with a full finish, unfinished oak, and primed white.
A full finish (prefinished) means that the door is fully prepared and is ready to be hung upon delivery, such as our Prefinished DX Oak door. These are a popular choice for those who don't want to spend extra time adding the finishing touch to their door. They offer a classic look and give customers peace of mind with their simple installation and delivery.
An unfinished oak door is a perfect choice for those who want to add their own finish before hanging a new door in their home. Because this door finish comes without any type of paint, wax, or stain they are completely unfinished ready for you to add your mark.
Some of our oak doors are also available primed white, like the DX30 solid white door. These are popular for those who want to choose the final colour of their door but want to cut down on some additional time by having them pre-primed white. However, many of our customers are so impressed with the finish of our primed white doors they hang them as they are!
When choosing an internal door for your home, safety is of utmost importance. Much of our DX30 and DX60 internal door range is available as a fire door so you don't have to compromise between safety and look. A fire door is also known as an FD30 fire rated door. Every Express Doors fire door is 44mm thick and able to prevent the passage of fire and smoke for a minimum of 30 minutes. This type of door is recommended between kitchens and other rooms, including garages. In some commercial properties, they are a legal requirement.
Whether you choose an unfinished, primed white, or full finish on your oak door, we want you to be confident in your choice.
