Its backplates have a thumbturn on the inside and an emergency release on the outside, and it comes with a 76mm mortice bathroom lock and matching strike plate. The Mortice Sash Lock Pack is for rooms that need a key, such as studies, utility rooms and storerooms. It includes keyhole backplates, a 76mm mortice sash lock, a matching strike plate and two keys.

Satin nickel suits almost any door colour or material. It looks crisp against white primed and painted doors, ties in well with grey and light oak finishes, and goes with brushed steel and satin chrome fittings elsewhere in the home. The brushed surface also hides fingerprints and water marks better than polished finishes, so it is a practical choice for busy family homes and bathrooms.
