The Athena White fire door is a modern fire-rated internal door from PM Mendes, designed around a 1-panel layout.
Built around an engineered solid core, the door has a sturdy character suited to demanding internal locations. The white primed surface forms a neat base for the final topcoat, allowing the finish to be coordinated with the surrounding scheme. With no glazing, the design offers visual separation while allowing the panel pattern to take focus.
Use it for the kitchen, living room and bedroom in locations requiring FD30 performance, ensuring the complete doorset and installation meet the relevant fire-safety requirements.
Fire Doors (FD30 fire rated doors) are doors which are suitable for use in homes or light commercial use. All Express Doors fire doors are 44mm thick and can prevent the passage of fire and smoke for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Local authorities recommend that fire doors be positioned between garages and kitchens and/or between kitchens and other rooms. They are also a necessity where risks of fire may be higher and to protect stairwells and hallways in commercial properties such as B&B's.
