Product Description

Ideal for use in bedrooms or lounges alike, the Mexicano fire door features a classic unfinished oak panel panel design, with the number of panels varying, dependent on the width of the door. Timeless, this traditional cottage style FD30 fire door oozes sophistication and style with its shallow square grooves and high-quality American white oak veneers. This door is supplied unfinished at 44mm thick for the FD30 style, with other 35mm and 40mm thick panelled and glazed designs also available. The Mexicano Oak Panelled door is the corner-post member of the Mexicano family, with multiple glazing and finishing options available.

What is a fire door?

Fire Doors (FD30 fire rated doors) are doors which are suitable for use in homes or light commercial use. All Express Doors fire doors are 44mm thick and can prevent the passage of fire and smoke for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Local authorities recommend that fire doors be positioned between garages and kitchens and/or between kitchens and other rooms. They are also a necessity where risks of fire may be higher and to protect stairwells and hallways in commercial properties such as B&B's.
