The Mexicano Black Oak fire door by PM Mendes is a fire-rated internal door with a modern 5-panel layout suited to considered interior schemes.
An engineered solid core provides the robust build expected from an internal fire door. Its black fully finished surface offers a clean, uniform result without the need for a separate decorative topcoat. The unglazed design provides privacy and gives the panel detailing a clean, uninterrupted appearance.
This door is suited to the kitchen, living room and bedroom where an FD30-rated doorset is specified, subject to fitting with the correct compatible frame, ironmongery, seals and installation details.
Fire Doors (FD30 fire rated doors) are doors which are suitable for use in homes or light commercial use. All Express Doors fire doors are 44mm thick and can prevent the passage of fire and smoke for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Local authorities recommend that fire doors be positioned between garages and kitchens and/or between kitchens and other rooms. They are also a necessity where risks of fire may be higher and to protect stairwells and hallways in commercial properties such as B&B's.
