"I recently purchased 10 Mexicano Doors and the quality of them is fantastic. They look great and I’m very happy with my purchase. They were reduced when I bought them which made the purchase price even better. I would definitely recommend these doors."

Doors are great but customer service is poor.

"The doors look great and my joiner said they’re of good quality. The issue I have with this company is their customer service skills; I wanted to order 15 doors and needed them on a specific date which was at the end of the lead time they specify on their website, I didn’t want them any sooner hence why I called them, they firstly do not do orders over the phone, you have to and can only place your order online, I was then told that after placed my order online, I will get a phone call within 24 hours to arrange the appointment, which is when I could specify when the doors could be delivered. After placing my online I receive no phone call for two days, so I called them and was told somebody’s looking into it and they were call me back after four days. I finally got an email from the delivery company saying the delivery would be on the 8th working day, 12 days after my order, which was after the 5-7 working days they say on their website, phoned them and they said that that was all they could do as the delivery was out of their hands. I had to reschedule my joiner which thankfully he accommodated me by shuffling some jobs around. So the customer service is lacking in this company."

"love the doors, hinges are quite small and fre handles twist in the door and don't seem to work right. not all of them stick. annoying. doors easy to plane and drill but very very heavy to carry upstairs alone. look stunning."

Unlike standard FD30 fire doors, which are typically built to a thickness of 44mm, this Mexicano model is expertly engineered at just 35mm. The reduced profile makes it the ideal solution for properties with existing slimmer frames, where upgrading to a full-thickness fire door may not be practical. Despite its leaner design, this door still delivers full FD30-rated fire protection, thanks to its high-performance grooved MGO core. You get the fire resistance you need, without having to compromise on compatibility or appearance.

What is a fire door?

Fire Doors (FD30 fire rated doors) are doors which are suitable for use in homes or light commercial use. All Express Doors fire doors are 44mm thick and can prevent the passage of fire and smoke for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Local authorities recommend that fire doors be positioned between garages and kitchens and/or between kitchens and other rooms. They are also a necessity where risks of fire may be higher and to protect stairwells and hallways in commercial properties such as B&B's.
