Product Description

This 1930's style Oak 4 panel fire door follows a traditional Edwardian trend in doors, with wide middle and bottom rails, with the bottom panel divided into 3 flat panels to add that characteristic 30's style. These unfinished Oak Fire doors, are supplied with 10mm lipping's as standard, and are supplied unfinished, for you to paint, stain, oil, or wax to your specific taste, to enhance the beauty of real natural Oak. These doors are designed and manufactured to meet the latest UK Building Regulations, in that they are FD30 rated, preventing the spread of fire between rooms for 30 minutes

What is a fire door?

Fire Doors (FD30 fire rated doors) are doors which are suitable for use in homes or light commercial use. All Express Doors fire doors are 44mm thick and can prevent the passage of fire and smoke for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Local authorities recommend that fire doors be positioned between garages and kitchens and/or between kitchens and other rooms. They are also a necessity where risks of fire may be higher and to protect stairwells and hallways in commercial properties such as B&B's.
