Each model is finished with a smooth white primed MDF surface, ready for on-site painting, allowing developers to achieve a consistent finish across multiple plots. Certified by FSC® (INT-COC-003944.500), the White Smooth Flat 4 Panel Fire Door also supports responsible sourcing and sustainable construction practices. With availability in popular imperial sizes and bespoke options on request, it offers flexibility as well as peace of mind.
Supplied in standard imperial sizes, this fire-rated door includes 18mm lippings and can be trimmed by up to 12mm from any edge, providing flexibility during installation. Bespoke sizes are available on extended lead times.
Alongside this FD30 fire-rated model, the range also includes non-fire rated and clear glazed versions, giving developers the ability to maintain a consistent design theme throughout an entire project. Combining safety, sustainability, and affordable volume supply, the White Smooth Flat 4 Panel collection is a practical choice for new-build housing developments as well as individual homes.
Fire Doors (FD30 fire rated doors) are doors which are suitable for use in homes or light commercial use. All Express Doors fire doors are 44mm thick and can prevent the passage of fire and smoke for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Local authorities recommend that fire doors be positioned between garages and kitchens and/or between kitchens and other rooms. They are also a necessity where risks of fire may be higher and to protect stairwells and hallways in commercial properties such as B&B's.
