Constructed from sustainably sourced, FSC® Certified wood (INT-COC-003944.500), each door features a rich Americano furniture-grade black finish, expertly applied by the UK-Based Colours by XL Team, ensuring a consistent, high-quality appearance that negates the need for further finishing at home.
The door features four beautifully crafted raised panels with a veneer thickness of 0.6mm, offering a visually stunning depth and contrast. Edges and cutouts receive light sanding using 240g sandpaper, emphasizing the door's exquisite craftsmanship.
To accommodate your space, non-fire rated versions of this door can be trimmed up to 6mm from any edge, with a maximum width/ height reduction of 12mm. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use three hinges for hanging, which aids in preventing any warping or bowing. Unfortunately fire-rated versions can only be trimmed by up to 2mm from any edge.
The Victorian Americano door arrives fully finished, but it is crucial to treat any bare timber areas exposed during trimming or hardware fitting. Maintenance is straightforward – regular cleaning with a damp cloth maintains the door’s allure, with a single coat of finish recommended for any future touch-ups.
